PSM CoordinatorLocation: Corpus Christi, TXDescription:Explanation of Job Duties:
- Works under consultative direction toward predetermined goals and objectives.
- Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide accurate and reliable support to operations and management regarding PSM, policies, procedures and practices.
- Assimilates facility Process Safety statistics and performance indicators. Analyze and provide management with trending information and recommendations to recognize trends, eliminate Process Safety incidents and promote Process Safety Management.
- Provides technical and program expertise involving the application of process safety requirements as defined by regulatory agencies and the company's process safety program guidelines.
- Evaluates and completes quantitative risk assessments and makes recommendations regarding necessary actions required to meet regulatory compliance and the company's safety standards.
- Maintains expert knowledge of specific requirements imposed by government agencies
- Process Safety Coordinator experience in a refinery or chemical plant.
- Knowledge of OSHA General Safety and PSM regulations
- Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Enablon. Process Safety Background
